Supporting RACC

A learning community for the future

RACC exists to meet the learning and development needs of adults and young people and to help them progress in life, achieve career, business and personal development goals.

RACC has an adult ethos and environment where learner's circumstances, experiences and skills are welcomed and the needs of adult learners and returners to education are understood and provided for in a safe environment.

We have an annual calendar of events where entry fees are charged or donations collected towards student bursaries. Departments within RACC also run their own small events to collect money to fund new equipment and teaching resources. Events include sales of student work such as pottery, glass, food, lectures, concerts, drama performances and exhibitions.

How you can help

By donating to RACC, you could be helping support our student bursaries which give disadvantaged students a chance at education. Each year RACC creates a bursary of £150,000 to offer financial assistance to learners who are on low incomes, are unemployed or in receipt of benefits.

Bursaries are granted to provide assistance with travel to college, materials required for a course and childcare in our crèche.

Alternatively, you may choose to support the funding of a particular piece of equipment to enhance our students' learning experiences.
